Ad Journeys (MailAdx's term for sequential newsletter ad campaigns) allow advertisers to run multi-step ad sequences across newsletter audiences. Step 1 reaches all eligible subscribers in a newsletter. Step 2 automatically targets subscribers who received Step 1, after a minimum wait period the advertiser configures. By Step 3 or 4, the advertiser is communicating with the highest-intent readers in the campaign — those who've seen the brand multiple times across multiple sends. MailAdx tracks eligibility by subscriber email hash, with no opt-in, no list upload, and no ESP changes required. Advertisers using Ad Journeys typically see 2–4× higher conversion rates on Step 3 compared to standalone single-ad campaigns. The sequential exposure builds brand familiarity before making a direct conversion offer.
