Newsletter Ad Network
A platform that connects newsletter publishers with advertisers at scale.
A newsletter ad network is a platform that aggregates newsletter inventory from multiple publishers and offers it to advertisers as a unified buying opportunity. From the publisher's perspective, an ad network provides instant access to advertiser demand without requiring individual sales effort. From the advertiser's perspective, it enables reach across many newsletters through a single buy. There are two types: marketplace networks (like Paved) where advertisers discover publishers and negotiate deals, and programmatic networks that buy inventory via automated real-time bidding. The trade-off for publishers using ad networks is control vs. convenience — networks typically take a revenue share and set terms, while publisher-owned ad infrastructure (like MailAdx) retains full control but requires more active management.
