Restrictions, suspension and appeals
What an action on your account means, where you see it, and how to appeal within 30 days.
Updated 2026-11-02
If traffic or content breaks a policy, MailAdx can act on your account. You can appeal a decision within 30 days. The Terms of Service, Advertising Policy, Monetisation Policy and Invalid Traffic Policy set the rules.
What an action can be
| Action | What it means |
|---|---|
| Warning | No change to what you can do. Fix the issue |
| Marketplace restricted | Marketplace and third-party DSP demand stop on a publisher's inventory. Direct-sold campaigns keep serving |
| Payout hold | A publisher's payouts wait while traffic quality is reviewed |
| Suspended or Terminated | Access to the account stops, for serious or repeated violations. Accrued fees stay payable |
Where you see it
For publishers
- An alert says Action on your account: you can appeal until a date.
- Publisher Portal shows a banner and an Account Health card, with each case, its status, the action and the appeal deadline.
- If marketplace demand is restricted, Authorized Sellers shows that too.
For advertisers and agencies
There's no case page for advertisers in the app. A rejected creative shows in Alerts and in Creatives. If you think action was taken on your account, contact support@mailadx.com.
If you can't sign in and see Account suspended. This account can't sign in, contact support@mailadx.com.
Appeal a decision
You have 30 days from the date of the action.
For publishers
- Open Publisher Portal and find the case under Account Health.
- Describe your appeal, with your evidence, in the box.
- Select File Appeal.
You can appeal a case once. Its status then shows APPEALED.
A rejected creative isn't a case. To appeal one, use the appeals address in section 8 of the Advertising Policy.
For advertisers and agencies
Write to the appeals address in section 8 of the Advertising Policy. Include the campaign ID and why you're appealing.
What happens next
If the appeal succeeds, the action is reversed. If it's upheld, the action stays. Once a case is closed, it leaves the Account Health card.
If something goes wrong
- "Appeal deadline has passed." The 30 days are over, so the app won't take an appeal.
- "An appeal has already been filed for this case." Each case takes one appeal.
- You can't reach the Publisher Portal. Use the appeals address in the Monetisation Policy instead.
