Add your newsletter
Get a publisher account, fill in your details and see what you can do before your account is approved.

A publisher account is how you sell ad space in your newsletter. It holds your ad units, ad tags, earnings and settings.
Before you start
- You need a MailAdx login. If you don't have one, sign up as a publisher.
- One login holds one publisher account. If you run several newsletters, keep them in that account and add ad units for each one, with the newsletter's name in the placement key.
Steps
If you signed up as a publisher, your account already exists. Go to step 2.
- If you signed in as an advertiser, open Account, go to Add another account and select Enable publishing next to Monetise a newsletter. Then switch to the new account from the account menu at the top right.
- Open Account and scroll to Contact Details.
- Fill in Display Name, Contact Email and Website. Add a short About if you like (at most 280 characters). It is shown in the Publisher Directory, where advertisers browse newsletters.
- Select Save Changes.
- Follow the Getting started checklist on your home page. It ticks each item off as it happens.
Use the website you control. Your ads.txt file lives on that domain, and it proves the newsletter is yours. See Publish your ads.txt line.
What happens next
MailAdx reviews new accounts. Until yours is approved you can set up ad units, tags, orders and line items, but you can't set a campaign to Active or add credits, and your ad tags show no ads. Once it is approved, ads can start serving.
The Getting started checklist asks you to:
- Verify your email address.
- Complete your publisher profile. This needs your website on Account, and your newsletter size and email service provider on Inventory Details.
- Create your first ad unit.
- Integrate the ad tag and confirm it's serving.
- Add a custom domain for tracking. This one is optional.
If something goes wrong
- "Your account is pending admin approval." You tried to activate something before approval. Your drafts are safe. Activate them once your account is approved.
- You don't see Enable publishing. The option appears on advertiser accounts. On a publisher account you already have what you need, and the row reads Already added if your login holds one.
