Find newsletters in the Publisher Directory

Compare newsletters by audience and measured delivery, then start a line item aimed at the ones you pick.

Updated 2026-11-02

The Publisher Directory lists the active newsletters you can buy. Use it to see who is out there before you decide where to run.

Steps

  1. Open Publisher Directory.
  2. Search by name, website or content category.
  3. Narrow the list with Verified, Serving now and Has targetable audience, or pick a country.
  4. Sort by name, by impressions (28 days) or by list size.
  5. Select View inventory details on a card for the full picture.
  6. Tick the newsletters you want, then select Create line item for N publishers.

Reading a card

Some figures come from the publisher and some are measured by MailAdx. The card keeps them apart.

Reported by the publisher

  • Subscriber count and open rate.
  • Audience geography (publisher-reported).

Measured by MailAdx

  • Impressions and invalid traffic over the last 28 days.
  • Top country and top reading app.

Badges

Badge What it means
Serving Its ad tag sent requests in the last 14 days.
No recent traffic No ad requests in the last 14 days. Its tag may not be live yet.
Direct-sold only It takes only its own campaigns, so a line item can't deliver there. You can't select it.
ads.txt verified Its ads.txt file names MailAdx as an authorized seller for its domain.
Verified by MailAdx The MailAdx team confirmed this publisher owns the newsletter.
Not verified yet Marketplace campaigns and deals can't deliver here yet.
Accepts election ads, issue ads or both It takes that kind of political ad. (by approval) means it approves each sponsor first.

Target by shows which audience details you can target on this newsletter. Ad Slots lists its slots and sizes.

The directory doesn't show minimum prices. When you pick publishers on a line item, the targeting check tells you if your CPM is too low for one.

What happens next

The line item form opens with your newsletters already chosen under Publishers.

If you have no campaign yet, you'll see "You picked N publishers — create a campaign first". Select Create campaign. Once you save it, you come straight back with the same newsletters selected.

For agencies

The new line item opens on your first campaign. Check the Order field and switch it to the right client before you save.

If something goes wrong

  • "No publishers available yet". Publishers appear once they are approved and active.
  • "Switch to an Advertiser or Agency account to browse the publisher directory". You're in a publisher account. Use the account switcher in the top bar.
  • A newsletter's checkbox is greyed out. It is Direct-sold only.
