Read and export your leads

See who filled a lead, subscribe or RSVP form, what they agreed to, and how to export them before they are deleted after 90 days.

Updated 2026-11-02

Leads lists the readers who filled in a lead form, one-tap subscribe or RSVP in your interactive ads, with exactly what they agreed to.

Leads are kept for 90 days. After that the email and details are deleted and only the count stays. Export them, or send them to your CRM, before then.

Whose leads you see

For advertisers

The leads from your own ads.

For agencies

Choose a client under Advertiser to see that client's leads.

For publishers

Only the leads from your own campaigns. Leads from an advertiser's ad on your newsletter go to that advertiser, not to you. You see the count in Interactive Reports.

To read leads, a team member needs the Owner, Admin, Manager or Analyst permission.

Steps

  1. Open Leads.
  2. Set From and To. The page opens on the last 30 days.
  3. Narrow the list with Search, Ad and Type. Type is Lead, Subscriber or Registration.
  4. Select a row to see the details, including What they agreed to.
  5. Select Download CSV to export what's in the list.

What's in the export

The CSV has one row per lead: when it arrived, the type, email, each field (name, company, job title, phone, city, PIN code, choice), the RSVP time, whether double opt-in is needed, the creative, the newsletter, the consent text, and whether it was a test.

It follows your date range and filters.

How consent works

  • Every form has a consent box. It starts unticked, and the form can't be sent without it.
  • MailAdx writes the consent sentence. It can't be edited.
  • The form links to the privacy policy you gave in the builder.
  • The exact sentence is saved with the lead, under What they agreed to.

The sentence names who gets the data. For a lead form it reads like this example:

Share my email and details with Brand so they can contact me about this.

You are responsible for these leads under your own privacy policy, and you may use them only as the consent sentence and that policy describe. The Advertising Policy sets the rules.

Subscribers need double opt-in

A one-tap subscribe lead shows confirm before mailing (double opt-in). MailAdx doesn't send the confirmation. The reader's consent sentence promises one, so send your own confirmation email before you add them to your list.

What you might notice

  • One lead per email per line item. If a reader sends the same form twice, they see the thank-you message, and you get one lead.
  • "deleted after 90 days". The details are gone and the count stays.
  • "deleted on request". The reader asked for their data to be erased.
  • The Delivery column. It shows whether the lead was posted to your CRM. A dash means it was not sent anywhere.

If something goes wrong

  • "No leads in this period". Widen the dates. Leads appear after a reader sends a form, and only lead forms, one-tap subscribes and RSVPs collect them.
  • A reader says they signed up but isn't listed. Check the date range, and check for the same email on that line item.
  • "Not your leads". You can only open leads of your own account or of clients your agency manages.
