Run an agreed deal
Set up delivery on an agreed deal, fund a guaranteed deal, watch delivery, propose a change, pause it or cancel it.

An agreed deal doesn't serve by itself. The buyer sets up delivery, and the deal runs through a line item until its end date.
Set up delivery
For advertisers and agencies
- Open the deal and select Set up delivery.
- Check the Line item name.
- Choose a Creative, or Add later. The list shows only banner creatives for a banner deal, and only native creatives for a native deal.
- On a Programmatic Guaranteed deal, enter Impressions on this line item, or leave it empty to book everything that's left.
- On a private auction, enter Your bid (CPM, USD). It must be at least the floor.
- Select Create line item. It starts as a draft.
- Once the creative is approved, make the line item live on the Line Items page.
The line item follows the deal. Its inventory, price and dates come from the agreed terms. You can narrow the countries and frequency, but you can't widen them. You can split a Programmatic Guaranteed deal across several line items, as long as they add up to no more than the deal.
Fund a guaranteed deal
A Programmatic Guaranteed line item goes live only when your wallet covers what it still has to deliver. The Funding panel on the deal shows where you stand. If you're short, the message tells you how much to add. Top up your wallet, then try again.
For publishers
You don't need to do anything to start delivery. The deal serves on your inventory once the buyer's line item is live. Until then the Delivery section says The buyer has not set up delivery yet.
Watch delivery
The Delivery section shows impressions, clicks and spend. On a Programmatic Guaranteed deal, a bar shows how much is delivered against an even pace to date.
On a Programmatic Guaranteed deal, Show forecast gives ad opportunities per day, the total over the deal's dates, and how much other agreed guaranteed deals have already taken there. It's based on the last 28 days of ad requests. It's an estimate, not a promise.
Propose a change
Either side can do this while no other offer is open.
- Open the deal and select Propose a change.
- Edit the terms, add a message if you want to, and select Send.
The agreed terms keep running until the other side accepts. The other side answers the same way as any offer. Once they accept, the deal's line items follow the new terms.
Two limits apply. Once a deal has started, its start date stays. And a guaranteed deal's impressions can't go below what's already booked on line items, or what's already been delivered.
Pause or resume
For publishers
Select Pause on an agreed deal. Nothing serves until you select Resume. The buyer gets an email each time. You can't resume after the end date, or while your inventory isn't verified.
For advertisers and agencies
Only the publisher can pause a deal. To stop your own delivery, pause the line item on the Line Items page.
Cancel a deal
Either side can do this at any time before the deal closes.
- Select Cancel deal.
- Enter a Reason of at least 3 characters. The other side sees it.
- Select Cancel deal again.
The deal's line items stop serving at once and are paused. This can't be undone.
What happens at the end
The day after the end date, the deal closes as Completed.
If something goes wrong
- "Only … of the deal's … impressions are left to book." The deal's other line items already use up the rest. Lower the number, or edit the other line items.
- "Bid at least the deal's floor." Raise your bid to the floor shown on the deal.
- "The deal caps frequency." A line item's frequency cap can be stricter than the deal's, but not looser.
- "A change is already waiting for an answer." Wait for the answer, or withdraw your change first.
- A line item won't go live. Check that the creative is approved and, on a guaranteed deal, that your wallet covers what's left.
