Refunds, credits and invalid traffic adjustments

When money comes back to your wallet, why credits are not cash, and how to raise a dispute in time.

Updated 2026-11-02

You are not billed for traffic that fails our checks. If traffic is found to be invalid after it was served, the money is corrected in your wallet. The rules below come from our Invalid Traffic Policy and Monetisation Policy.

If your account is billed by your ad network, you have no wallet here. Ask your ad network about credits.

How credits work

  • Traffic found to be invalid at the moment it is served is not billed.
  • Traffic found to be invalid later can be corrected too, if that happens within 30 days of the end of the calendar month it was served in.
  • The correction appears as a line in your wallet transactions.

For advertisers and agencies

The spend on those impressions goes back to the advertiser's wallet, as Invalid traffic credit. These are wallet credits, not cash refunds, unless the law requires otherwise or an order form says so.

For publishers

Serving fees on invalid Direct-Sold impressions come back as Invalid traffic serving fee refund. If free impressions paid for them, they go back onto your grant while it is still running. You don't get cash for them.

Earnings on invalid traffic are taken back as Invalid traffic adjustment, and this can take your wallet below zero. If the earnings were already paid out, we may offset them against later payouts or ask you to repay them.

Unused wallet balance

The app has no refund or withdrawal button for money you topped up. If you have a question about unused credit, write to support@mailadx.com with the date and the amount.

Raising a dispute

  • Suspected invalid traffic. Advertisers raise this within the same 30-day window, with supporting data.
  • Report discrepancies. The Monetisation Policy gives publishers 30 days from the relevant monthly statement, after which a statement is final. The dashboard doesn't issue publisher statements today, so check your wallet and raise anything you find without waiting.

Write to support@mailadx.com with the dates and the line items or ad units involved. Our measurement is the billing record, as the policies explain.

If something goes wrong

  • A credit you expected has not appeared. Check the wallet transactions for the month after the traffic was served, then write to support@mailadx.com.
  • Your publisher wallet is below zero. An adjustment took back earnings you had already used. New earnings fill the gap first.
