The Getting started checklist and guided tour

Your Overview page shows what's left to set up. Each tick comes from what's really in your account, so it stays right on any device, however you did the step.

The checklist

Select an item to go to the page that does it.

For publishers

1. Verify your email address
2. Complete your publisher profile: your website, newsletter size and email service provider are all filled in
3. Create your first ad unit
4. Integrate the ad tag and confirm it's serving: ticks once your tag has reached MailAdx
5. Add a custom domain for tracking (optional)

For advertisers

1. Verify your email address
2. Load wallet credits
3. Create your first order & line item
4. Get a creative approved
5. See your first delivery

If your ad network bills you, you have no wallet, so Load wallet credits won't tick. Select Hide once the rest is done.

For agencies

1. Verify your email address
2. Add your first client advertiser
3. Add credits to a client
4. Create your first order & line item
5. Get a creative approved
6. See your first delivery

The later steps count across all your clients.

The list follows the account you have open. If you switch to another of your accounts, you see that account's list.

Hide the checklist

Select Hide at the top of the card. This hides it for your login, in all your accounts, and it doesn't come back.

Otherwise the card goes away by itself when every item is ticked, including any optional one.

Tell us about your business

While your account is in review, a card asks you to Tell us about your newsletter or Tell us about your business. Select Save & continue, or Skip for now and fill it in later on the Account page.

The guided tour

The first time you open the dashboard in a browser, a welcome card offers a tour of the main pages in the sidebar.

• Select Start guided tour, then Next to move on, or Skip tour to leave.
• Select Skip for now to close the card.

Once you finish or skip it, that browser won't offer it again. The dashboard doesn't have a button to restart it. The tour doesn't appear on a phone-sized screen.
