Switch accounts or add another one

One login can hold several accounts: a publisher, an advertiser and an agency, plus any teams you've been invited to. Each has its own settings, reports and team. The name at the top right of every page shows which one you're in.

Switch accounts

1. Select the account name at the top right.
2. Under Switch context, choose an account. Each row shows the account's type and your level in it.

The page reloads in the new account. You don't need to sign in again. If you only have one account, the name at the top right is a plain label, not a menu.

For agencies

Next to the account name, once you have two or more clients, a menu lets you narrow what you see to one client. All clients is the default.

Add another account

Before you start, open the account you want to add from. You need the Owner or Admin level in it. An agency account can't add others, so start from a publisher or advertiser account.

1. Open Account.
2. Scroll to Add another account.
3. Choose one:
   • Enable advertising, from a publisher account. Adds an advertiser account with its own wallet and campaigns, linked to this one.
   • Enable publishing, from an advertiser account. Adds a publisher account with its own ad units and revenue reporting.
   • Enable agency access, from either. Adds an agency account for running campaigns for clients.

What happens next

The new account is sent to the MailAdx team for approval. You can switch to it straight away and start setting up. It can't serve ads until it's approved, and a new agency can't add clients until then. See Account review.

You can add one account of each type. If your login already has an account of that type, including a team you were invited to, its row shows Already added.

If something goes wrong

• An account you were added to isn't in the menu. Sign out and sign in again.
• Publisher OWNER or ADMIN required to enable DSP access, or the same message for an advertiser or agency. Your level in this account is too low, so ask an Owner or Admin. If you own the account, write to support@mailadx.com with your ID from the Account page.
• You already have this account. Use the menu at the top right to switch to it.
• You want a second newsletter or a second advertiser account. This card adds one of each type only. Write to support@mailadx.com.
