Add and manage your client advertisers

An agency runs campaigns for its clients. Each client is an advertiser on your account, with its own wallet, orders and creatives.

Before you start

• Your agency account must be approved. Until then, adding a client shows "Your agency account is waiting for approval by the MailAdx team."

Add a client

1. Open Advertisers and select Add Advertiser.
2. Enter the Advertiser Name and Contact Email. Both are required.
3. Add the Website. Use the client's real domain, because publishers' block lists check it.
4. Choose Industry / IAB Categories if you know them. This tells publishers what kind of ads to expect.
5. Select Create Advertiser.

A new client starts as Active, whatever the Status field on this form says.

Fund a client

Select the wallet icon on the client's row to add credits. See Fund a client's wallet.

Work on one client at a time

The client selector is in the top bar, next to the account switcher. It appears once you have two or more clients, and All clients is the default.

Choosing a client narrows Orders, Creatives, Leads and Interactive Reports to that client. It doesn't narrow Line Items, so check the Order column there. In Reports, use the Client breakdown.

The selector only changes what you see, and it is remembered in this browser only. When you create an order or a creative, you still pick the client in the form.

See your roster

Open Agencies and expand your agency. Managed advertisers lists your clients. This page is read-only for agencies.

What only the MailAdx team can do

• Attach an advertiser that already has its own account to your agency, or detach one.
• Change a client's details, pause a client or remove one. If you try these on Advertisers, you'll see an access error.

Contact support@mailadx.com for any of these. To stop a client's ads yourself, pause its orders.

If something goes wrong

• "Your agency account is waiting for approval". You can add clients once the account is approved.
• "Access denied: resource belongs to a different tenant". You tried to edit or pause a client. Contact support@mailadx.com.
• A client is missing from the Advertiser list on a form. Only clients linked to your agency appear. If this one has its own account, ask support@mailadx.com to attach it.
